Where the ukelele is coming from?
The ukulele is today considered a typical instrument of the Hawaiian peoples, but similar instruments with four strings are traditional in many parts of the world. Was imported in Hawaii by the Portuguese at the end of the 19th century, giving a pear-shaped shape to what in Europe was well known in various types as the Mandolin.
