BARRE NO FEAR

Just a few things to know... In case you need to form a full barre on the neck of the ukelele, bring the pressure of the index finger slightly to the lateral part of the finger itself. While in the case of half barres we can easily use the entire fingertip.

Keep the right position

Using the ukelele with a strap.

1)
Assume the best position with the neck of the uke pointing just below your shoulder. Hold your right arm so that your forearm remains parallel to the floor.
2)
Push with the thumb of your right hand on the neck of the ukulele.
3)
With your right forearm, push slightly to compensate for the outward pressure of your left hand and stabilize the instrument.
